Covid-19 Update:

Good day! I hope you are all well. On April 24, the board met to discuss the possibilities around offering Summer Conference. Over the last several days the COVID 19 information across New York State has improved, but we do not feel that it is in a place where we can offer a conference in July. This decision was not easy, but is necessary for the health and safety of our NYS DATAG family. Please see our upcoming programs for the updated DATAG meeting dates and locations. You will notice we have added some virtual meeting opportunities. You will also find a call for proposal(s) link here. Please submit your proposal(s) by June 1, 2020. Please indicate in the proposal your willingness to present virtually, in-person or both. This will help with planning our virtual meeting(s) over the summer and in-person meeting this November in Saratoga, NY.For questions or comments please email This email address is being protected from spambots. Thank you for your interest in attending the 2020 DATAG Summer Conference! This two-day conference provides professional development opportunities for New York schools’ data analysis experts. DATAG’s premier summer event is designed to assist its members in understanding performance assessments in order to effect changes in curriculum and instruction to meet state educational standards.

DATAG supports the use of data to:

  • Inform and improve curriculum, instruction and assessment
  • Guide professional development and district comprehensive or strategic planning.

Our conference program reflects best practices that involve the audience in a meaningful knowledge transfer. We hope to see you in Saratoga!

DATAG focuses on fulfilling its mission of assuming a leadership role for New York State educators. That mission is achieved through conferences and member meetings that help administrators and faculty understand how educational data is interpreted.
